New Rim Fire Perimeter Map Tuolumne County

New Rim Fire Perimeter Map Tuolumne County, CA -- A new map has been released showing the perimeter of the Rim Fire.

The Rim Fire has scorched 187,466 acres and is 23% contained. 111 structures have been destroyed, primarily in the Berkeley Family Camp. 4,191 firefighters are on scene this morning.

Roads leading into Tuolumne City remain blocked only residents in the community and emergency officials are allowed to pass through. Residents need identification. Road closures are due to heavy traffic from emergency personnel.

The Three Types of Evacuation are:
Evacuation Advisory
- Issued to the media to alert the public to potential evacuation orders. The advisory will contain general information on how to prepare for an evacuation.
Evacuation Warning
- Issued when an evacuation order is eminent. It includes the specific geographical area that may be evacuated and procedures to be followed.
Evacuation Order
- Issued when there is an immediate threat to life and/or property. The evacuation order contains specific geographic area to be evacuated and procedures to be followed.
